Magician Space is pleased to present artist Wang Wei's solo exhibition "A Wall on the Wall, A Floor on the Floor", which will open on September 13th, 2012 and run through October 31st, 2012. The work exhibited duplicates wall and floor surfaces from different places in reality. In the exhibition space they pretend to be two decorative surfaces, and in a visually manic, illusive way presenting a kind of “everything is but at the same time is not” state of doubt. The clues and thoughts that are underneath the presentation of the work construct an imaginary space that is seemingly powerful, but also problematic, ridiculous and awkward. Those that have been added and those that have been left behind have together become reality’s “decoration”.
