This exhibition in 2015 commemorates the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s Resistance War Against the Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-fascist War, 70 years ago, Zhejiang was one of the most important battlefields in the Anti-Japanese War, in the heroic battle for the whole nation, Zhejiang’s soldiers and civilians had made great sacrifices and a significant contribution, in the face of aggression, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Zhejiang’s residents established an Anti-Japanese base area behind enemy lines, using their own flesh and blood. This demonstrated invincible national integrity and an earthshaking heroic undertaking, to make a great contribution to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. In order to remember the history, to highly raise a patriotic banner, carry forward the national spirit and through passionate art works to express patriotism, revealing nationalism, carrying forward the patriotic heroes, guiding people to establish and adhere to the correct view of history, national and cultural viewpoints which enhance the moral integrity and confidence.
Jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Zhejiang Federation of Literature and Art Circles, The Great Wall of Flesh and Blood – Zhejiang Provincial Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War Art and Photography Exhibition which will be held in Zhejiang Art Museum. It will be divided into three parts: “History is Condensing”, “Front-Line Eyes”, “Report of the Battlefield”. (Editors of the exhibition: Zhang Weiliang, Li Xiangyang)
