The Sunny Art Award 2017 Call for Entries

The Sunny Art Award is an international art prize hosted by Sunny Art Centre, London. This fine art competition is a global platform giving an opportunity to any emerging and established artist to showcase their talents. Their works will represent the diversity of art and culture as the Sunny Art Award represents the international art scenes of London, Beijing, Guangzhou and Macau. It will promote an exchange between the creativity of Eastern and Western cultures.

Artworks that can be submitted can range from two-dimensional works such as paintings, drawings and photographs, to three-dimensional sculptures, ceramics and jewellery.

The Sunny Art Award 2017 exhibition will run at Sunny Art Centre, London (near the British Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Museum of London) from 1st August to 31th August 2017. In addition to our in-house exhibition, a series of touring exhibitions will be staged at our partners’ venues across the U.K. and China (including the Haidian District Beijing Center, Guangzhou AIP Gallery, and the Blanc Art Gallery in Macau).

First Prize – The winner will receive £3,000, a public solo exhibition at Sunny Art Centre in London, a one month residency along with a show at our partners galleries.

Second Prize  – The winner will receive £2,000, a group exhibition, a one month residency and a show at our partners galleries.

Third Prize – The winner will receive £1,000, a group exhibition, a one month residency and a show at our partners galleries.

30 Shortlisted Artists works will be exhibited during the summer at Sunny Art Centre, London. Out of these 30 shortlisted artists there will be an opportunity for 10 of these artists to exhibit their works at our partners galleries.
