Curated by designer Sun Hua and Liu Qing, Associate Professor from the Department of Sculpture, Central Academy of Fine Arts, “Various Shapes and Colors Relationship: Zhou Ting’s Color Instincts” is on display at Gallery 2C, CAFA Art Museum. As the third project of “Expand + Curate: Young Experiment Project Space, Phase III”, it features recent paintings by Zhou Ting, a promising artist and Associate Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

A still life painting can be interpreted in various shapes and colors by artists. Those unique presentations convey their respective consciousness and keen perception of colors. Zhou Ting is accustomed to making a base in her paintings. The color effects that accidentally formed by remaining pigments in her works reflect her unique artistic conception. Her working methods in shapes and colors have stimulated new thinking of fundamental skills and education along with the changing era.
