At 2:00 pm on April 30, 2015, the opening ceremony of CAFAIFC 2014 Graduation Exhibition and the Graduation Ceremony were held at the lobby on the ground floor of the design building in CAFA. Gao Hong, Party Secretary of CAFA, Su Xinping, Vice President of CAFA, Jin Hua, Director of International Cooperation Administrative Office for Education, CAFA, Huang Li, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Administrative Office for Running School, CAFA and Director of CAFAIFC, Tony Brown, International Academic Director of CAFAIFC, as well as all the faculty members and students, together with some of their parents attended the ceremony.
Before the ceremony, Gao Hong and Su Xinping were accompanied by Jin Hua, Huang Li, Prof. Tony Brown to visit the graduation exhibition of CAFAIFC, and they highly praised the creative and talented works by these students. At the beginning of the ceremony, Huang Li warmly welcomed the honored guests who were present at the ceremony and invited Su Xinping to address and announce the graduation exhibition kicked off. Su Xinping praised highly of the art acuity and the professional enthusiasm shown by the students of CAFAIFC in their works.
Then, Huang Li announced the graduate achievement of the academic year 2014-2015: a total of 70 students from CAFAIFC successfully graduated in this year, and all of them received an offer from the overseas college and university, and some were even accepted by 2 or 3 colleges and universities. Huang Li said the graduation exhibition of the academic year 2014-2015 was entitled “Highlights”, in order to collectively present the highlights of the teachings of specialism, art theory and English. So it was the most special thing that it did not only present the professional work, but it has also shown the excellent educational experiences by a highly visual way in the classes of the theory and history, as well as English classes. Following that, Tony Brown, International Academic Director of CAFAIFC made a graduation speech.
At the graduation ceremony, CAFAIFC also awarded comprehensive and individual scholarships to the students who had an outstanding performance in the courses and others aspects.
To Build a Complex Pipeline for Transporting Talents: CAFAIFC 10 Years
On May 4, 2015, “Highlights: 2014-2015 Graduation Exhibition and CAFAIFC 10 Years” Journalist Salon was held by CAFAIFC in building 7 of CAFA, to introduce the concept, development course, teaching characteristic, and other features of the program. Qin Jianping, Minister of Propaganda Department, CAFA, Jin Hua, Director of International Cooperation Administrative Office for Running School, CAFA, Huang Li, Director of CAFAIFC, Tony Brown, International Academic Director of CAFAIFC, Nicole Condon and Tim Crowley, the directors of the teaching of CAFAIFC, as well as part of the students this year and graduates in previous years attended the salon.
CAFAIFC recruits the students from China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and foreign countries, with the one-year preparatory courses, all students study and live in CAFA, fully enjoying the advantaged art resources and academic atmosphere, finished one year of study to continue their undergraduate studies in the foreign partner schools. Jin Hua introduced that it had helped nearly 700 students studied abroad by this project at present, entering the first-class international art schools to continue their study.
Huang Li, Director of CAFAIFC used a video display to introduce the ten years of the development and experience of the project: CAFAIFC was established in 2005, it was a key for CAFAIFC in 2009, that the original cooperation mode of single school and single country was successfully replaced by a complex cooperation platform for prominently docking multiple schools and countries.
