This exhibition represents itself as a Film Retrospective by Viktoria Tsvetkova.
Black and white photography show how cinematographic the world around us is. Just as Ansel Adams said, “You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
Viktoria Tsvetkova has been passionate about photography ever since she bought her first camera. It all started at the Oleg Orlov classical photography school in Siberia where she began with analog photography.
Viktoria's accolades include competition victories at FIAP and "The best of Russia", and she participated at many photo exhibitions throughout Denmark, France, Croatia, Scotland, Russia, Serbia and Estonia.
The main object of many of her works is the human living in the natural environment. Captured with black and white film, her photography emulates the style of a cinematographer. In addition, we can say Viktoria still uses her professional analog photography skills "I can do the dark room work myself. It's the old-fashioned way, but I prefer it more than anything else".
