
Global Auspicious Chinese Zodiac Design Exhibition was exhibited at the UN Headquarters.
On February 9, the Year of the Horse celebration themed "Galloping Forward with the United Nations" was held at the UN Headquarters. The event was attended by Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Ambassador Fu Cong, Deputy Permanent Representative Ambassador Sun Lei, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed and 12 other UN Under-Secretaries-General, representatives to the UN from more than 120 countries, and over 500 guests from various sectors in the eastern United States.

Wang Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, was interviewed on-site by Xinhua News, CCTV and other media.
During the evening, a festive atmosphere prevailed at the UN Headquarters. Presenting a new practice of cultural diplomacy reflected by Chinese Zodiac design to the world, "Global Auspicious Chinese Zodiac Design Exhibition" was curated by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Wang Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, as well as the design team from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, participated in the event.

Faculty members and students from CAFA communicated with guests who attended the event.
The exhibition featured a section titled "Auspicious Symbols: Global Zodiac Design for the Year of the Horse" which focused on works themed around the Year of the Horse. During the event, the team from the Central Academy of Fine Arts introduced the spirit of diligence, sense of unity, and enterprising character embodied in the Horse of Chinese culture to diplomats and international friends. Through in-depth exchanges, they further conveyed China's development concepts and values to the world. The exhibits vividly explained the philosophical ideas of "Harmonization of Nature and Humanity" and "Harmony in Diversity" in zodiac culture, showcasing the inclusive spirit of Chinese culture that celebrates "Appreciate the culture/values of others as do to one's own, and the world will become a harmonious whole."
